(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/rwpc324465/public_html/rwblog/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6131On January 15, 2021, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released new guidance stating that the reporting timeline for Provider Relief Fund (PRF) will be delayed. This is an important update for healthcare providers who received more than $10,000 in one or more PRF payments. As we previously noted, the reporting system was originally set to be available on 1/15/2021, with the initial reporting on use of funds due by 2/15/2021. However, the passage of $3 billion in additional PRF funding in late December 2020 under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act resulted in the reporting timeframe being pushed back as HHS is working to revise the PRF reporting requirements to be consistent with the new law. As a result, healthcare providers who received PRF payments will now need to submit their reporting requirements at a later date. There is currently no deadline for compliance.

In the meantime, HHS urges providers to begin registering for access to the Reporting Portal by creating a reporting account at the newly enabled PRF reporting website. Although there is no deadline for creating a reporting account, providers must complete this first step and begin the reporting process to comply with the parameters of the reporting requirements once the new deadline is announced.

Please note that the reporting requirements released on January 15, 2021 do not apply to the funds from:

The HHS call center and provider support are currently limited, but any of our Medical Practice specialists will be happy to assist if you have any questions relating to the Provider Relief Fund.
